Autorenporträt
Fran Hoepfner is a writer and essayist from Chicago living in New York City. A former stand-up comedian, she currently works as a senior news writer at Vulture, and her work has appeared in The Onion, Gawker, The New York Times, GQ, Cosmopolitan, and The Guardian, among other publications. She earned her MFA in fiction writing from Rutgers University, and a BA in English and history from Kalamazoo College in Michigan. Her blog, "Fran Magazine" has an audience of over 7,000 subscribers.
