This new edition includes an introduction by much loved author Frank Cottrell- Boyce and an afterword of newly discovered notes that Tove made about her Moomin characters.

The writer and artist Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was the creator of the much-loved Moomin stories, as well as the bestselling The Summer Book. Sort of Books publish all fourteen original Moomin titles, alongside ten novels and story collections for adults.
