Mark Randall grew up on a bush station in Sanyati, Zimbabwe. He attended Samford University, UAB Medical School, and met his wife during general surgery residency at Greenville, South Carolina. He worked in Zimbabwe with his father as well as in multiple hospitals in East Asia for fifteen years. He has practiced surgery in rural west Alabama for thirteen years. He enjoys writing articles and is also the author of The Bethlehem Midwife, Fire Mission! Fire Mission! and Decurion.
