Judith Licata was born and raised in California on a citrus ranch where she enjoyed playing with her cousins. She loved her high school years on a cattle ranch in the Southwest and attended Cal Poly University where her expertise for writing was developed. As part of a team of teachers for NASA, she developed aeronautical lesson plans published by McGraw Hill.

Judith is an avid world traveler, is married and has two adult children and three granddaughters.
