I'm an English writer and, like so many others, I can't remember a time when I wasn't inventing stories. As soon as I could write them down, I did. I've now written approximately twenty novels, most of which aren't worth reading, some poems, a lot of short stories and a few books for children.

This novel, and all the others, are products of my imagination, and no generative AI was used. I also painted the illustrations on the front covers.

You won't find me anywhere on social media. I don't use Facebook, Instagram, X, Bluesky or have a website. This is because my writing time is precious and I don't want to spend hours keeping blogs up to date or sending out newsletters most people won't read.
