Autorenporträt
Mira Katzburg-Yungman is a scholar of American Jewish history at the Department of History, the Open University of Israel (retired). Specializing in the history of Zionist women's organizations in America and worldwide, she is a Spiegel Fellow at the Finkler Institute of Holocaust Research at Bar-Ilan University. Her notable publications include Hadassah: American Women Zionists and the Rebirth of Israel (Littman Library of Jewish Civilization, 2012; National Jewish Book Award finalist), and the three-volume bilingual anthology Häavaya Hayehudit Ha-ameri¿anit [The American Jewish Experience] (2007).
