David A. Williams Jr. has always had a creative and entrepreneurial mind, and growing up, he became more attached to writing. His relationship with God shows in his work, not neglecting the fact that we are all human.

In "Words of a Troubled Soul," David mirrors his feelings and takes on life through his work. This book starts like David's life: rough, dark, and hopeless. You'll notice some helpful sayings and quotes as you continue to read. As you reach the book's climax, you'll see his writings become brighter and more hopeful.

David wanted this introduction of the series to show that it's okay to think and feel how you do. So for him, he kept God in the midst of the light and the dark times.

The last thing he mentioned was that there are many troubled souls in this world, and he wants to put the brave ones in this series.
