Benita Glickman is a retired language teacher, mentor, and consultant to Brown University. A member of the Academy of American Poets, she has been widely recognized for her literary excellence, earning numerous poetry awards, including the prestigious Alice Minnie Hertz-Heniger Award for Children's Literature. After the profound loss of her beloved husband, Joseph, Benita found solace in writing, channeling her grief into ten heartfelt memoirs. She has also authored three poetry collections-Echoes in Time: A Collection of Poetic Works; Hearts of Sorrow: A Poetic Odyssey through Grief and Healing; and Ethereal Threads: Weaving Resilience in Poetry, all capturing the emotional depth of love, remembrance, and healing.
