Dr. Andrea Wright is a children's author and math educator, whose work centers joyful learning and representation. A Bronx native now working in DCPS, she writes culturally rich stories and math-friendly adventures, creates classroom resources for teachers, and studies how to reduce math anxiety for elementary students.
