At the head of the palm tree at the top of the trunk of Mabrouka (my grandfather's beloved palm), I saw the movements of creatures for the first time in my life from above. I saw the tongues of smoke rising from those scattered farms. I knew why she was set on fire. I raise my gaze a little and see the rest of the clouds swimming in the sky, moving slowly, exhausted and sad. I look down a little and see birds of different colors and types, some flying in a hurry and hitting their wings quickly as if they had an emergency, others fluctuating in the air as if in an acrobatic show, and others flying quietly like butterflies moving from one tree to another. At the far end of the sky's roof are a number of eagles that spread their wings, keeping them stationary and spinning, leaving themselves to a current that carries them where it pleases. As I watched these creatures, I could hear a voice that I did not know its source repeating: To learn wisdom, meditate while you look to see what is behind the pictures, for those eagles that spread their wings, and left themselves to the current, did not do so because of laziness!
