Autorenporträt
Hesham Abdeldayem a été diplômé de l'école de médecine Kasr El-Aini en 1987, où il a obtenu ses diplômes de MSc et MD (1992 & 1997) et a suivi une formation de résident en chirurgie générale (1988-1992) et à l'université de Pittsburgh (2000 à 2002). Il a rejoint l'Institut national du foie en 1993, et a été nommé professeur de HPBS en 2008 et vice-doyen pour la recherche en 2014.
