Ashli Hayes is a self-taught crocheter with a passion for crafting unique amigurumi designs inspired by video games and animals. Since learning to crochet in 2015 through YouTube tutorials, Ashli has honed her skills, eventually creating her own patterns. In 2019, she launched 1Up Crochet: Geek Inspired Amigurumi on Etsy in 2019, where she has since sold over 32,000 downloadable patterns. A lifelong gamer, Ashli's love for video games began at age three with a Sega Genesis and continues today, alongside a knack for refurbishing gaming controllers and consoles. As a military spouse, Ashli has lived in various states, from Florida (where she presently lives) to Alaska, sharing adventures with her husband and their two beloved dogs.
