This book is basically a Greatest Hits of Gospel Revolution Church compilation in a daily devotional format. Each devotional is broken down into 4 categories: Revelation, Revolution, Scriptures and Prayer. The revelation is meant to be a short snippet from the message that really hit me the most. The revolution is a short explanation of the revelation. The scriptures are ones referenced by Greg in the message. The versions are King James, New King James and the Faith Translation. I used the King James version most of the time when Greg referenced the whole scripture in his notes and I could just copy it from there. For scriptures just referenced in the notes, I looked them up in the Faith Translation and used that whenever possible. If you're not familiar with the Faith Translation, it is a translation currently in the works by Gospel Revolution Church member John Fazio. It is an excellent translation that is based on the revelation of the Gospel that Greg preaches. Greg grew up on the King James versions, so that is what he is used to. So that explains the reason why there are different versions referenced. You can download the apps and order books that are available now on his website and app. The last section is the prayer section. I used the Youtube transcript of the video to copy the actual prayers Greg prays at the end of the message. There are many messages that I developed several different daily devotionals from, so I just did the best I could to break them into different sections. For the ones I didn't have a prayer from Greg to reference, I did my own.

I want to make sure everybody knows the content of this book is all from Greg Henry, the pastor of Gospel Revolution Church is Slidell Louisiana. I have been listening to him since 2014. When I started listening to him, I was a little offended at first because some of the things he was saying were opposed to what I was taught. However, I could not deny the passion he had and the detail he went into. I decided to start taking notes while listening to his messages. I compiled a few hundred pages of them from the first 7-8 years of his ministry. Then Greg started putting the notes for the messages on his website. So I had all this material put together.

The inspiration for the book came from trying to help my girlfriend understand Greg's messages better. Coming from Bible College myself, I was able to follow most of what Greg was saying when I started listening to him, but when I tried to introduce my girlfriend to Greg's messages, I could tell it was hard for her to follow. So my goal was to take the content in the messages and break them down to make them easier to understand.

The daily devotionals are broken up into several categories based on topics and times of the year like Easter, Christmas, etc. So if you are able to start reading the book at the beginning of the year and do one per day, there will be some flow that is relevant to things happening in the calendar year, but it certainly doesn't have to be read that way. If you are more of a beginner Christian, I would recommend starting with the Myth Busters, Foundational and Father's Day categories.
