Guan Daoxiong is a senior faculty member in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). As the Chinese Language Program's coordinator and a teaching professor, he has taught Chinese courses at all levels in different subjects, including Modern Chinese, Modern Chinese for Heritage Speakers, Conversational Chinese, Reading and Writing in Chinese, Business Chinese, and Classical Chinese over the past 26 years at UCSB. His research interests mainly focus on two areas, Business Chinese and Chinese Classical Literature.
