Debra Crawford-Haynes was born and raised in Southern California, and a mother of two and a Grandmother of four. She is a teacher of young children by profession and continues to teach through children's story books, by opening and offering a window into children's imaginations. She was inspired by childhood memories of traveling across the country and daydreaming about the mountains and far off places and people.
