Diana Yeager writes from her heart through the emotions of lessons of learning God's mercy, understanding His presence, and surrendering the easy and hard things in life to Him who is forever faithful to draw us close even when we can't feel or see it. Although known for her formal poetry by her family and friends, 'The Mercy of Withheld Wings' is her first published work. This book of free-verse poetry and contemplative writing draws the reader to examine their level of surrender to their Creator. Short prayers and reflection prompts encourage further soul-searching and serve as a step towards personal and emotional healing from the delays that are a common part of our human experience. This work has been formatted into a 23-day devotional, making a wonderful gift.
Autorenporträt
As a long-time resident of southwest Missouri, Diana Yeager believed on the Lord Jesus as her Savior in 1970 during a revival held at her father's church. She has continued to seek a deeper understanding of her loving Heavenly Father and endeavors daily to truly make Jesus Christ the Lord of her life. Her Heavenly Father has helped her through the many ups and downs of life, revealing His mercy and goodness daily, even during challenging times. These times are shared with others through her poetry and contemplative writings, often originating from parts of her prayers and conversations with God the Father. She sincerely hopes that her published works will encourage and inspire your heart and draw you to seek after the God who chose to create you, and who desires a deep, individual, personal relationship with you. Diana attended Victory Bible College, Tulsa Community College, and Missouri Southern State University. She possesses a two-year certificate in Practical Ministry and Missions and a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration and served in short-term missions in Eastern Europe, Central, and South America.
