To ensure overall development of the country, women who constitute almost half of the total population need to participate in higher education. But unfortunately eve teasers are hindering their participation.

Fawzia Rafique Laboni is done with BSS and MSS from the Department and Women and Gender Studies, University of Dhaka Bangladesh. Now she is pursuing her second Masters and also working at BRAC as Sector Specialist in Gender Justice and Diversity Division. Her areas of interests are mainly gender based violence, women's empowerment and poverty.
