This is an impossible, long novel with three parts which begins with a middle manager who falls asleep and is transported into the life of a private eye to rescue a beautiful client's mom who has been kidnapped. Both the client and the mom, of course, are aliens. This is followed by short vignettes which may have something to do with the story. In the third part our middle manager is retired and has to leave his office .
