Kai is a queer witch, writer, and artist who draws inspiration from their Samoan heritage and spiritual practice. They have been writing poetry since they were in grade-school, and thankfully, it has improved since then. Kai lives with their wife, Gerene, and their fur-children Shyla and Tallie in Des Moines, Iowa. And yes, they are currently trying to take care of a sourdough starter.
