For over a decade I was strongly inspired to capture images/feeling in my painting that were drawn from my formative years in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and this extended train of thought manifested itself in a body of work called The Bay Reverie Series. These images became personal "icons" that evoked a sense of time, place, and culture.

About the Author

Mr. Ward taught art at the University of Southern Mississippi, retiring as Professor Emeritus of Art.
As an amateur photographer, Mr. Ward's imagination always seems to be drawn to the documentation of his environment. The e-book is his chosen format for sharing some of the records of his daily walks.
