Autorenporträt
John J. Janc is professor emeritus of French at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he taught French language and literature for thirty one years. He received a "doctorat de troisième cycle" from the Université de Paris III (la Sorbonne nouvelle) in 1977 and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981. He has authored "éditions critiques" of the following plays by Victor Hugo: Les deux Trouvailles de Gallus, Torquemada and Hernani.
