John Scordato is a highly decorated police officer with 38 + years of combined law enforcement experience as a municipal officer, State Investigator, contractor for the US Marshals Service, Homeland Security and Executive Protection Specialist. His police commendations include the NJ Honor Legion Award, Awards for Valor, Meritorious Service, Life Saving, Apprehension, Child Birth, Defibrillation Life Saving, END/DWI & M.A.A.D, American Heart Association Life Savers Award. Multiple citations from the NJ Senate, Bergen County Freeholders, NJ Assembly, Bergen County 200 Club, local school districts and other police agencies. In a well deserved retirement, he and his wife reside in rural NJ, enjoying watching their grandchildren grow up.
