Jenny Harty is a mom of two daughters and a lifelong advocate for child passengersafety. After her family was involved in a hit-and-run crash-an experience that changedeverything-she led the charge to pass "Madison's Booster Seat Law" in Georgia. She also played a key role in passing Georgia's Hands-Free Law in 2018 to help reduce distracted driving.A Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) since 2004, Jenny has spent over two decades helping families keep their little ones safe. She has served on the Board of Directors for the AAA Traffic Safety Foundation, as well as the Georgia Governor's Occupant Protection Task Team and the Georgia Governor's Distracted Driving Task Team.Seeing the need for a fun and engaging way to teach kids about road safety, Jenny wrote "Francie & Fitz Booster Buddies." Through this rhyming adventure, young readers learn the importance of booster seat safety in a way that's fun, memorable, and easy to understand.When she's not advocating for highway and child passenger safety, Jenny enjoys gardening, cooking, spending time with her daughters and friends, and cheering on her beloved Buffalo Bills from her home in Alpharetta, Georgia.
