Juliana Pungiluppi is a Colombian policy expert and passionate advocate for social inclusion and equality in Latin America. She served as Director-General of the Colombian Institute for Family Wellbeing (ICBF)-the agency responsible for child protection-and acted as the national guardian of children's rights.

She believes that children still need printed books-tangible stories that nurture their imagination, help them make sense of the real world and spark their desire to make it a fairer place.
