Global warming (caused by adults) has caused primeval fire creatures to revive and there is a secret and losing struggle to defeat them by a group called Gaia. As a last resort, Gaia have trained a team of youngsters (not all human) in the art of effective decision-making and have thrown them into the fray. They have ten days to destroy the fire creatures.
