Margarette Joyner, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre at University of North Carolina Charlotte, College of Arts and Architecture. holds degrees from the University of South Alabama, Mobile (BFA) and Virginia Commonwealth University (MFA). After graduating, she taught theatre at Virginia Union University (HBCU). She is a dynamic and powerful actress, director, playwright (produced in various cities), and award-winning costume designer.
