Autorenporträt

Marianne Mkrtchian, the author of Athena's Curse, was born in New York City in 2005. She is an American-Armenian who is very proud of her heritage. She loves reading and her favorite series are The Sisters Grimm and Wayside School. Marianne writes stories, diaries, comics and beautiful poems. Athena's Curse is the first book of Marianne, which she wrote in 3rd grade at John G. Dinkelmeyer Elementary. She was very much inspired by her mother's and her teacher's ideas about perseverance and staying true to your values. Marianne now lives in Long Island. She also attends Armenian Saturday School, takes piano and violin lessons, and devotes her free time to reading and writing. Currently she is working on her second book The Vikings of Valor.
