Autorenporträt
Michael and Angela have worked extensively with youth and families, serving in full-time ministry in Cincinnati and Denver from 2007 to 2022. During this time, they observed firsthand the struggles of youth and college students with shallow roots in their faith. Their work with churches that focused primarily on teenagers and college students led them to wish that guidance could start earlier. This experience inspired them to develop their pre-parental counseling workbook, driven by the question, "What if we started younger?" Michael and Angela live in Denver, where they spend most days outdoors with their children and neighbors. Michael's parents live with them because they wanted to create a multigenerational home life. They are deeply involved in their church community, leading a young parents' ministry they started, hosting vision retreats, and consulting churches on how to focus more on families. Their mission is to restore and strengthen families one household at a time. Married since 2011, Michael and Angela enjoy raising their five children in a faith-centered community of extended family and friends.
