"Don't just exist; live and let your purpose flourish. God promises us victory; claim the extraordinary triumph God has reserved for you." When you lose a child, it is imperative to be still and to hear God's voice. One must seek refuge and discover the steadfast love of God: -Learning to speak in faith, while seeking peace, and allowing the love of God to protect and heal; -Discovering, when letting go, that there is beauty out of ashes, and discovering that there truly is a purpose to one's pain; -Letting go and not being afraid to fall apart while turning over all the broken pieces to God and trusting God's healing process; -Putting all fear behind and knowing that moving forward is inevitable. Every healing step has a purpose in life, a God-ordained purpose.
Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Sonia is the daughter of Silvestre and Maria Labrado, the head and the heart of our household. Although not a perfect family, there was prayer, love, good food, sports, and amazing work ethics. She used to struggle with low self-worth, body image, and rejection issues for many years. Through struggles, trials, and tribulations, God's promises of healing after the passing of our beloved Daniel were instrumental in facing the future with confidence, strength, faith, and wisdom. She's a work in progress indeed, but joyfully continues to celebrate every breakthrough.
