What happens when you grow up too soon, feel too much, and try to capture it all in words before you even know what it means? The Teenage Diary is a raw and honest collection of poems and stories - delicate, intense, and deeply real. From childhood tears and loose shoelaces to high school heartbreaks and sleepless reflections, the author explores the emotional journey of growing up in a world that constantly asks for more. Through friendships that felt eternal, crushes that defied logic, quiet struggles at home, screen-lit pandemic days, laughter echoing in classrooms, and tears shed in silence - this book reveals the beautiful messiness of adolescence in its truest form. It's a tribute to the confusion, bravery, and transformation of a girl who never fit into just one box. Written with lyrical sincerity and emotional clarity, The Teenage Diary isn't just a coming-of-age tale - it's a confession, a heartfelt note, and a reminder that the unexpected moments often shape us the most.
Autorenporträt
The Teenage Diary is my debut book - a project I've been shaping, reshaping, and nurturing for as long as I can remember. I wrote it in the quiet, familiar streets of Ichalkaranji, the town where I've laughed, cried, grown up, and discovered myself.Currently in my final year of high school, I find myself reflecting on everything that's shaped me - the stories I chose to tell, those I left unspoken, and the ones that still linger. Writing this book felt like gathering pieces of all the different versions of who I've been.As I prepare to pursue a bachelor's degree in Communications, this book will always remain the starting point - the place where it all began.
