Rehan Dastagir in his first novel "An Introvert's Journey", aimed to spread the message about collective human evolution. During his PhD study in abroad he noticed the human ethnocentric behavior and transcended himself in national, religious, and cultural labelsto think beyond identity politics and see the world through a philosophical, universal lens. The urgency of the message made him to write in a foreign language. He is an Associate Professor of Environmental discipline at a university in Bangladesh and an advocate for "Global Citizenship Education" of UNESCO. Beside Japan, he widely travelled across South and South East Asia.
