Richard C. Resch is Professor and Kantor Emeritus from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, where he served for thirty-five years as Kantor and Professor of hymnody and church music. He founded the seminary Kantorei and the Good Shepherd Institute of Pastoral Theology and Sacred Music. He holds a bachelor of music from Valparaiso University, a master of music from the Eastman School of Music, and a master of divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary. He was a member of the Hymnody Committee for Lutheran Service Book (2006).
