Rick Loessberg has written numerous articles on the Kerner Report, conducted the oral history interview of Kerner Commission member (and former US Senator) Fred Harris for the LBJ Presidential Library, and served as a technical advisor for "The Riot Report," an American Experience episode. He has also had a thirty-eight-year career working for or with local, state, and federal government and administering many of the types of programs that the Kerner Report recommended.
