William S. Shields Bill, and his wife Maria, have been happily married for 53 years. Together they owned Shields & Associates Insurance Brokerage firm, which was located in Winchester, Massachusetts. Bill is semi-retired as he now owns and operates Loss Control Solutions, which is a risk management consulting firm. Bill and Maria have three children and six grandchildren. They reside in Middleton, Massachusetts. Bill enjoys his consulting work and continues to write; as he is the author of the best-selling novel; "Never Take No For An Answer" that is the story of his former employer, The Modern Continental Construction Company, who was the primary contractor on the "Big Dig" construction project in Boston, MA. When not writing, or conducting consulting work, Bill enjoys traveling to far off places with his wife Maria and spending time with his precious grandchildren.
