Dr. Yerkebulan Raiymbekov is a postdoc and head of the Research Laboratory at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, awarded for his work on developing technologies for enriching substandard raw materials and waste in the phosphoric industry of Kazakhstan. Dr. Raiymbekov’s academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and continued with a master’s in Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, all completed at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (Shymkent, Kazakhstan). Dr. Raiymbekov has made significant contributions to his field, evidenced by his authorship of 27 peer-reviewed papers indexed in Scopus/Web of Science, five books published domestically, and one monograph chapter published internationally. His innovative work is further supported by 7 patents registered with the Kazakhstan Patent Bureau. As a scientist, he has successfully led and participated in multiple research projects, including the prestigious “Zhas Galym” (Young Researcher) and “Tauelsizdik Urpaktary” (The Independence Generation) grants, focusing on selective leaching processes and environmental pollution impact assessments, respectively. Additionally, his collaborative efforts span international institutions, with scientific internships at leading organizations like Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology (Russia), the Tashkent Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry (Uzbekistan), the Technical University of Munich (Germany) and Water and Environmental Engineering Laboratory of Kyushu University (Japan). Dr. Raiymbekov’s professional accolades and research achievements highlight his expertise in chemical technologies, inorganic materials, and environmental sciences, qualifying him as a highly competent contributor to this work.
