Discovering his wounds, hurts, sorrows, and even the atrocities that were inflicted on him and offering them to the world is an honor. Paulos' original work was penned in Amharic and then translated into English. There is something more powerful when one writes in their language and some of it is automatically lost when translated and then some is further lost when edited. But this is Paulos' story and I have sought to keep his storytelling style and way of speaking as the priority for presenting his life to the reader.........
