Tutor past 23 Years variously in Commonwealth poetry and the novel, Caribbean Civilization, Fundamentals of Written English and Critical Writing at the Cave Hill Campus The University of the West Indies (UWI); and English Grammar and story writing to young children and young adults in the Bush Hall Adult Education Institute and the Westbury Readers Club. Prior to this worked in two UN agencies (UNIFEM and ILO), as an economist of the Barbados Central Bank, as Assistant General Secretary National Union of Public Workers of Barbados and as a Junior Research Fellow, Institute for Social and Economic Research UWI Cave Hill Campus.
