After achieving success in the MMA ring, his career was abruptly cut short by a heart condition in 2010. However, Gordon quickly redirected his energy to another fight that was close to his heart-fighting against the brutal and illegal practice of dogfighting. His dedication to animal rescue has made him a recognized figure in the animal rights community, where he has used his voice to speak out against cruelty and raise awareness for rescue initiatives.

As the owner of Shotgun Entertainment, Gordon has spent over 15 years organizing and promoting MMA and boxing events, blending high-level competition with entertainment to create a unique and thrilling experience for fans.
