Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Rashed Alghafri is the Deputy Director of Administrative Affairs at Dubai Police’s General Department of Forensic Science & Criminology, with over 15 years of experience in forensic genetics. He holds two WIPO patents for innovative male DNA profiling tools and has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Alghafri has provided expert testimony in court for over 8 years and has been a featured speaker at numerous national and international conferences. His accomplishments have earned him numerous prestigious awards, including the Gordon Thomas Honeywell DNA Hit of the Year Award and the IACP August Vollmer Leadership in Forensic Science Award. He is an active member of several international professional organisations and serves on key UAE government committees. In addition to his forensic career, Dr. Alghafri is a Visiting Professor in Forensic Genetics and has supervised numerous PhD and MSc students both locally and globally. Dr. Mamdooh Abdelmottlep is currently a Professor of Police Science and Law Enforcement and serves as the Executive Chairman of the International Police Science Association (IPSA). Renowned for his extensive expertise in law enforcement, criminal justice, and security, Dr. Abdelmottlep has held distinguished academic and professional roles, including Director of Police Studies at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and Visiting Professor at Case Western Reserve University and Texas A&M International University. A recognized thought leader in police operations and administration, he is the creator of the World Internal Security and Police Index (WISPI) and has authored numerous publications on anti-terrorism strategies, knowledge management in policing, and law enforcement training. With a Ph.D. in Police Science from the Egyptian Police University, Dr. Abdelmottlep combines academic rigor with practical insights, leading international training programs and conferences that have shaped modern policing practices globally. Dr. Ibtesam Alawadhi is a distinguished authority in digital forensics and cybersecurity, holding a Ph.D. in Digital Forensic Case Management from the University of Central Lancashire, UK. As Head of the Postgraduate College at Dubai Police Academy, she drives academic innovation and mentor’s future leaders in cybersecurity and forensic science. With over 19 years of expertise, Dr. Alawadhi specializes in cybercrime investigations, evidence management, and emerging technologies such as the metaverse. Her scholarly contributions, featured in leading journals, advance the fields of digital forensic intelligence and predictive cybercrime methodologies. She has also held faculty positions at the University of Dubai and the American University in the Emirates, teaching and supervising graduate research in advanced cybersecurity domains. Dr. Hossam El Shenraki is a Professor of Criminal Research and Investigation and the Head of the Police Management Section at the Dubai Police Academy. With a Ph.D. in Criminal Sciences focusing on e-signature crimes and information security, he brings decades of expertise in criminal investigations, cybercrime, and law enforcement training. Dr. El Shenraki has an extensive background in criminal justice, having served in senior roles in Egypt's Ministry of Interior and as an international observer with the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces. His academic contributions include multiple peer-reviewed publications and books on topics such as cybercrime prevention, digital forensics, and modern policing methodologies. He is recognized for his leadership in shaping policies and training programs, particularly in combating emerging criminal phenomena and fostering international collaboration in law enforcement. Dr. Fehmida Hussain is a Professor of Science and Technology at Middlesex University Dubai, where she also serves as Deputy Director for Student Experience and Engagement. She leads the Center for Innovation in Human Experience, driving interdisciplinary research in informatics, artificial intelligence, and human-centered technologies. With over 20 years of academic and industry experience, she has held leadership roles, including Head of Computer Engineering and Informatics and Chair of the Student Research Committee.Dr. Hussain earned her D.Phil. in Informatics from the University of Sussex, UK, and her M.S. in Computer Science from SZABIST, Pakistan, graduating with distinction. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP). Her work focuses on cognitive modeling, AI applications, and educational innovation, making her a leading figure in research mentorship and the integration of emerging technologies into academia and practice.
