The Fart That Burned came about from a phone call with the author's mother while driving home from work. The idea really took hold in late 2022 when the author moved back home after wanting to explore a new career away from public service. The book provides a realistic view of law enforcement officers when not involved in high-speed chases or other high-stress situations. The banter, camaraderie, and general humor are commonplace in law enforcement and other careers where strong bonds are formed through hardship. The intention of this book is to help reduce stress through laughter, just as the author has done time and time again after going through high-stress situations. Enjoy.
