Green Technology and Sustainable Development is a humble effort to encourage students to incorporate sustainability into their daily routines to conserve the precious natural resources. It explores the concept and need of green technologies; core renewable technologies like solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, nuclear, and tidal power; global and Indian policies; and practices for the sustainable transformation. This book not only explores the technical aspects but also provokes the reader to think about socio-economic inequality, human survival on this planet, and their role in fighting climate change.
