Natalie West has spent more than 25 years working in digital, print, and broadcast media across Mississippi, with two decades rooted in the capital city of Jackson. A longtime resident of Flowood, she lives with her husband and three daughters. Natalie is a Master Gardener, a certified wine specialist, and an active volunteer in local hospice and long-term care communities. She authored the first edition of 100 Things to Do in Jackson, Mississippi, Before You Die in 2016 and continues to share her deep affection for Jackson-its people, culture, and spirit-through her writing. With this updated edition, she's excited to help others discover the enduring soul of this remarkable city.
