How far would you go to see the one you lost-just one more time? After the devastating suicide of his wife, Lena, Damian Wolfe is drowning in grief and guilt. In the depths of his despair, a mysterious figure known only as the Crimson Man offers him a cruel miracle: for thirteen nights, while his body sleeps, Damian's soul may wander through spiritual dimensions in search of his beloved. But every journey comes at a cost-five years of his life, lost each time he wakes. As the nights pass and the toll mounts, Damian begins to unravel not only the truth of Lena's pain but the terrible bargain he's made. When the Crimson Man returns with a new offer-kill to reclaim lost years-Damian faces an impossible choice: sacrifice others to reclaim what's gone... or let time devour what's left of him. A haunting descent into grief, memory, and moral collapse, 13 Nights: The Bargain is a supernatural thriller where love and desperation blur into nightmare.
Autorenporträt
Adam Earl has always been a storyteller. Whether it was scribbling down poems as a kid or crafting entire worlds in his head, writing has been a natural extension of how he sees the world. Born into a military family, Adam spent his childhood traveling the world with his parents, brother, and sister. Constantly moving from one place to another, he found comfort in books especially those that transported him to eerie, unsettling places. Horror and suspense became his escape, and over time, they became his calling. Influenced by legends like Clive Barker and Stephen King, as well as the dark, gripping narratives of Ed Brubaker's comics, Adam developed a love for stories that linger in the mind long after the final page is turned.
