Lauren Kohout is a chaotic golden retriever disguising herself as a human. She has dreamed of being a writer since middle school and started in journalism before moving on to education. It turns out education was great at providing lots of story ideas, but she'd rather write them than live through them. Since Usher used Lil Jon to be his hype man instead of hiring Lauren, she started pursuing her second dream job of writing romance novels instead. She lives in southern New Jersey with her dog, Luca, and loves to spend her time reading and traveling.
