From a Small Island to the Ends of the Earth In the early eighties, a Catholic couple on a small Mediterranean island gathered a group of people to live the way the earliest Christians lived--as a community, open to all and guided by the Holy Spirit. As their lives changed dramatically, they set out to share what they had experienced, founding their work upon one audacious promise: they would start where they were--but not stop until they had criss-crossed the world. More than forty years later, as an association of pontifical right, the Institute for World Evangelisation - ICPE Mission comprises lay missionaries sharing the Good News on every continent. From jungles to cities, from the old world to the new, through schools of formation, outreaches, healthcare facilities, and multimedia, the ICPE Mission has spread the joy of the Gospel wherever God sent them, constantly adapting to ever-changing circumstances. Anna Cappello Fava tells the story of how she and her husband Mario, together with a circle of courageous companions, set out to inspire people everywhere to embrace the ordinary--and trust God for truly extraordinary outcomes.
