In a world where the nature of work is evolving rapidly due to globalization, digitization, and dynamic organizational structures, understanding what truly influences job performance is more relevant than ever. Traditionally, Intelligence Quotient (IQ) was seen as the most significant predictor of success in both academic and professional settings. However, modern research suggests that success in the workplace cannot be fully explained by cognitive intelligence alone. Increasing attention is now being paid to Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Adversity Quotient (AQ) as critical dimensions of human capability that impact how individuals perform under pressure, manage interpersonal relationships, and cope with challenges. This book presents a conceptual exploration of how IQ, EQ, and AQ collectively influence job performance, with a specific focus on the mediating role of personality traits-namely, the Big Five Personality Traits model. The study is theoretical in nature. Instead, it draws extensively from existing academic literature, psychological models, and applied research to build a comprehensive framework that scholars and practitioners can use to understand employee performance.
