After getting saved and baptized, John spent the next fourteen years on the streets and street missions across the USA with the purpose of winning souls. John did some work with a prison ministry and is currently working with Celebrate Recovery at the Foursquare Church, as well as working with the homeless at a camp called Camp Hope.
