In 1954, he gained admission to Tsinghua University. During his time at the university in 1958, he was mistakenly labeled as a rightist, leading to his "labor investigation." This designation was later upgraded to "current counter-revolutionary," and he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He endured imprisonment in "Caolanzi" and "Gongdelin" prisons, as well as labor reform teams in "Tuanhe Farm" and "Qinghe Farm." In 1966, he was sent to the Xinjiang Agricultural Third Division Labor Reform Detachment. Upon completing his sentence in 1970, he was assigned to the "Employment Team for Released Prisoners," where he continued to face restricted freedom, heavy labor, and low wages. In 1978, he was exonerated and began teaching at the 43rd Regiment School of the Agricultural Third Division and the Agricultural Third Division High School in Kashgar. In 1985, he returned to Heze Normal College (later known as Heze College) to teach. He retired in 1996.
