Ruth grew up in Michigan Lake Country, where hiking, camping, and exploring shaped her connection to nature. Visits to her grandparents' Illinois farm, with endless cornfields and quiet stillness, further deepened her bond with the earth. A licensed holistic psychotherapist for over forty years, Ruth worked in diverse settings before opening her private practice. An acclaimed fine art photographer specializing in water and nature, Ruth was one of ten chosen to exhibit at the De Young Museum's reopening in San Francisco, standing out from over a thousand elder artists.
