Vanity's first book, A Girl and Her Grandpa, explores the admiration a young girl has for her cherished relationship with her devoted grandfather. Vanity is also an avid philanthropist and socially-conscious creative. She founded EMHERGE LLC., a business dedicated to aiding young women in pursuing a college education. Through EMHERGE, she awards multiple minority scholarships with the James L. Hill Scholarship Writing Contest, a scholarship program dedicated to her late grandfather.
